So I just blasted through House of the Dead: Overkill, the first new release game I’ve bought for the Wii since Mario Kart. Funnily enough, I traded MK and HotD and a damn fine choice that was too. Okay, so HotD took less then three hours to play through but I’ll definitely be playing it back through the Director’s Cut and unlocking as many of the bonus features as possible.

Next up; Dead Space. I’m over half way through so a couple of decent sessions will polish that one off. Beyond that is the twenty odd hours of GTA IV I still haven’t seen. So many games, so little time.

The only problem with video is that they need to be transcoded to h264 which takes time, they also need to be loaded into certain directories for different codecs in some kind of ass-backward implementation. However, thanks to the googlewebs I have a script called vepp which takes care of all that for me.

Apparently it also plays games. Had a look in Gamestation but they didn’t have anything of note.

Roof repairs didn’t stop water coming in during bad weather.

Apparently I’ve been leaking on downstairs as well. Poo. Hope that doesn’t cost me.

Finished Tales of Symphonia! Only took a little over a year and 50 hours of gameplay.

Converted my T10 to use UMS instead of MTP. Now it works like any other drive and I can use it properly.

Saw Cloverfield. It was a lot of fun.
