The Chin

I normally forego celebrity fascination. On this occasion though, I’m allowing myself to get a little giddy; Bruce Campbell is coming to Edinburgh. Ash himself (geez, he’s 50 according to Wikipedia) will be gracing the stage of the Cameo cinema to take questions after a screening of My Name Is Bruce and I’ll be in the audience, loving every minute of it. I’m probably hyping it up too much for myself but judging by the Q&A videos on youtube it doesn’t look like he lets his audience down.

BBC7 is playing on the radio and I’m listening to Rogue Male. It’s a book that is something of a stain on my conscience as there’s a copy of it in a box at my parents’ house which has the stamp of my secondary school library on the inside cover. I have no idea when I borrowed it but I no it’s been in that box for a long time. I sometimes toy with the idea of just putting it in an envelope and sending it back. I probably should. What’s confusing me about this radio adaptation is the scrolling display which says “Part 1 of 15” as I don’t remember the book being nearly long enough to fill seven and half hours.
