Look out roads
It’s finally happened; I’ve booked driving lessons. On April 3rd I will take to the roads for the first time. Can’t wait!
Yesterday was the Alloa half marathon. Last year was a horrible day for running making my first ever competitive run a miserable and slow experience. This year was much improved in the weather stakes and I crossed the line in 1:47:xx, 12 minutes faster than last year’s event and 3 minutes better than my previous best at Glasgow.
It’s still not a particularly fast time but averaging 8:15 per mile is a lot faster than the usual training run speeds that I normally run at so with a bit of extra focus in the training I’m sure I can hack another chunk off the time.
