Ripped Tickets

Got an update pushed out for rippedtickets.info this evening. No outward changes but there’s more of a relational model in place now behind the scenes. Next step is to populate some of the extra information for venues and get it displayed.

What I’d really like to do is build a Rails app around it but since Dreamhost is useless for Rails I’m not going to bother at the moment. Lately I’ve been thinking about moving over to Slicehost which offers more for more. $20/month gets me less bandwidth and storage but probably much better service. I can’t argue with what I get with DH, for ~$10 it’s top notch, but the ability to serve more than static html at a decent speed would be nice.
