Well, damn

Since my last mp3 player decided that producing sound was no longer part of its remit I purchased myself a shiny new Samsung YP-T10 this evening, only to get it home to find that there’s some kind of Microsoft media protocol for transferring files to devices. Really, do we need a new file transferring system?

Unfortunately/Excitingly that means lots of fiddling in Linux to get it to work. I’ve got the command line applications running quite happily and should be transferring files as I type (nope, just finished) but Amarok is having none of it.

No time to look at it more closely though as I’m off into Embra for the Refresh Christmas bash.
